Who am I?

I was born with a form of cerebral palsy that means I am a hemiplegic. This affects the right side of my body. As a baby, medical staff and doctors believed that there was a good chance that I would never be able to walk or talk.

They couldn’t be more wrong! In fact I grew up excelling at the things they thought impossible, especially talking! Growing up I was a dancer, Welsh junior para gymnastics champion, the youngest person with a disability to climb the highest mountain in Africa and then I found my running community.

Now I proudly represent Wales as a 100m T37 sprinter and have competed both at home and across Europe.

As a para athlete myself, I have had first hand experience of how the media represents us and the opportunities that can be missed because of the label that comes ‘before’ the word athlete.

We can make a difference!
